About Us
Tyler & Ellie Fox
If you asked Ellie and I what we were doing most of the time a few years ago, the answer would have been 'we're probably running'. We lived in a van with our dog, Roo, and our overhead was minimal. We could go wherever we wanted to and do whatever we wanted to.
However, things have changed in so many ways! If you ask me today, my answer is 'I'm probably coaching'.
Ellie's 'probably' rescuing a dog or working at the local animal shelter close to home. If we have some free time, 'we're probably farming' and tending to the livestock or crops in the backyard.
'I'm possibly training', but this takes up less and less time every year. The more time that I spend running and trying to run competitively, the more I recognize that less is often more. Training 20+ hours a week isn't necessary for most races or goals that I have! Life gets in the way and having flexibility in my schedule is a must.
This relationship I have with my own training is one that I incorporate into the training I assign to my athletes. You are reaching out to me because you're a runner! You are also SO MUCH MORE! I'm here to make the most of your time and to help you reach your goals, while finding the balance that is needed for longevity in this sport!
